While it's not an extended vacation, the President and First Lady are taking some time to themselves this weekend and visiting Asheville, NC.

It's a place Obama has been before, in October 2008 when he was running for office. The then candidate did debate prep work in Asheville.

When the First Couple landed today, the President headed back to a local favorite that he first visited when he was in town doing debate prep, 12 Bones Smokehouse.

According to Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton, the President and First Lady ordered ribs, greens, baked beans, corn pudding, macaroni & cheese and corn bread. And it was all washed down with a couple of sweet teas.

And for those wondering if the ribs, macaroni & cheese and sweet tea are part of Mrs. Obama's "Let's Move" plan, here's a tidbit - sweet tea has 1 1/3rd cups of sugar for two cups of water.
