Moscow police arrest more than 200 after uncovering secret underground city

Police in Russia have arrested more than 200 people after uncovering a hidden underground city where migrant workers apparently lived.

In footage released from the Russian government, the network of rooms -- located under Moscow’s Cherkizovsky Market -- contained sewing machines, a dining area, TVs, crudely-made beds and a chicken coop.

Many of the areas appeared to be powered with electricity and lighting.

In 2011, authorities found illegal migrants in an abandoned Soviet-era bomb shelter, Sky News reports.
