Video footage on board a Florida school bus shows a 70-year-old bus attendant beating and biting a student she claimed had bullied her, police tell Fox News.
The incident, which was first reported by the Orlando Sentinel, occurred June 2 on a school bus carrying students from Lakeland Senior High School.
Surveillance video on the bus reportedly shows the 4-foot-7 woman, identified as Hattie Yvonne Branch, confronting a 14-year-old boy.
Branch is seen striking, biting and wrestling with him, according to the newspaper.
The woman reportedly told police that she was acting in self-defense because the teen had threatened her in the past.
Branch was charged with child abuse and faces up to five years in prison of convicted.
