If you’ve held off on that overseas vacation due to high costs, this year it might be time to finally book.

TripAdvisor just announced the results of its annual hotel pricing report with some good news for U.S. travelers. Hotel room rates overseas have decreased seven percent—from $123 in 2014 to $115 this year.

The new report details average hotel prices for popular destinations including Brazil, Italy and Mexico. And if you’re weighing a domestic trip versus a European vacation, the answer may be across the pond. The average hotel room rate in Europe fell nine percent last year meaning that the average room is $121 versus $127 in the U.S.

“The strong U.S. dollar is making it more appealing for Americans to travel abroad in 2015,” Brooke Ferencsik, director of communications for TripAdvisor, stated in a press release.

“While U.S. travelers will find the greatest year-over-over hotel savings available on TripAdvisor in Europe, those planning trips to Africa or the South Pacific will also be able to book rooms for eight percent less on average this year.”

Though airfare may be pricey, a trip to China will see some of the most affordable hotel room rates in the world, averaging $76 a night throughout the year.

And in one of the expensive areas in the world, the Caribbean even has great room deals in 2015. Travel to the beach in September and October of this year and you can hotel room rates as low as $212—compared to $250 in May and November.
