In his first game since the 2014 season opener, and his first game ever as a Dallas Cowboy, defensive end Greg Hardy sacked Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on Sunday in both the first and the second quarter.

Hardy's second sack forced a fumble that was recovered by the Patriots.

Hardy just finished serving what amounted to a 19-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the league stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident.

In his last complete season, with the Panthers back in 2013, Hardy racked up 15 sacks and earned a top run-defending grade from Pro Football Focus. That led Dallas to take a chance on Hardy in March by signing him to a one-year, $11.3 million contract.
