During the 2014 regular season, Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox broke out as one of the NFL's most disruptive 3-4 defensive ends. In the Eagles' Week 5 39-17 win over the New Orleans Saints, he demonstrated why he is considered among the NFL's best young defensive linemen.

Cox was a force in the passing game. He racked up 3.0 sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered one of the two fumbles. Cox tallied six total tackles while adding one tackle for loss when the Saints tried to run the ball.
