Last week, Chicago Bears offensive lineman Kyle Long stepped away from his home at right guard, where he is a two-time Pro Bowler, and started at right tackle against the Green Bay Packers.

This week versus the Detroit Lions, Long is making another sacrifice by playing with a cast on his right hand, according to Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune.

Long is still getting used to his new position, so we'll see if this development hinders his transition to tackle at all in Week 2.
