Anytime that your starting quarterback and one of the faces of the franchise praises you in your first regular season NFL game, you're obviously doing something right.

That's exactly what happened with rookie running back Tevin Coleman, who impressed coaches, fans and quarterback Matt Ryan in the opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. Coleman rushed 20 times for 80 yards, leading to Ryan sending the young back some praise, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

"I thought Tevin, for his first NFL game, he didn't hesitate," Ryan told Ledbetter. "He played really, really well."

Coleman definitely grabbed the opportunity in front of him after being named the Week 1 starter. It'll be interesting to see how the snaps are split up moving forward in the 2015 season between Coleman and second-year back Devonta Freeman.
