The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received some tough news on wide receiver Mike Evans heading into Sunday's Week 1 matchup with the Tennessee Titans.

According to Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com, Evans -- who has been dealing with a hamstring injury -- will miss the opener and will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by Louis Murphy.

Evans caught 68 passes for 1,051 yards and 12 TDs in his rookie season and is expected to be the top weapon for rookie quarterback Jameis Winston.
