Andretti Autosport has added Simona de Silvestro to its lineup for this weekend's race in Louisiana.

The Swiss-born de Silvestro ran IndyCar's season-opening race at St. Petersburg for Andretti and finished 18th. Andretti later added her as a fifth entry for the Indianapolis 500 driving the No. 29 TE Connectivity Honda

De Silvestro left IndyCar last season to become a test driver in Formula One, but her funding package fell apart and she's trying to put together a return to full-time IndyCar racing.

She'll drive the No. 25 Andretti Autosport Honda for the inaugural event to be held at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana.

De Silvestro was the 2010 IndyCar rookie of the year.
