Strong wind continued to wreak havoc Saturday at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.

Play never got underway Saturday, and after waiting for nearly three hours, officials called play for the day.

The tournament has been cut to 54 holes. Officials hope to get in 36 holes on Sunday, and if the weather improves, that should not be a problem with only 30 players in the field.

The first round is now scheduled to start Sunday at 12:10 p.m. (et) on the Plantation Course at Kapalua.

"Went out there this morning about 6:30 a.m. I dropped a ball on the 10th green, on the back of the green just dropped it and it rolled off 20 yards off the front of the green," said Slugger White, the PGA Tour's vice president of rules and operations. "We did have balls that were going uphill on 10 a foot and a half."
