Roberto Nelson had a season-high 26 points Saturday to lead Oregon State to an 85-54 win against Grambling State.

Ahmad Starks added 17 points and Eric Moreland 14 points and 13 rebounds for Oregon State (5-2).

Terry Rose had 19 points for Grambling State (0-6), which has lost all of its games this season by at least 26 points.

Nelson, a junior guard, set a new career high with nine field goals and tied another with five 3-pointers. He was 9 of 13 shooting overall and added four rebounds and three steals.

Oregon State scored the game's first nine points and led 18-3 less than six minutes into the game.

Grambling State got no closer than 11 points in the first half from there. The Beavers used a 13-1 run to lead 46-22 at halftime.
