Marseille striker Loic Remy suffered a Peronnas and will be sidelined three weeks, the Ligue 1 club said Thursday.

The 25-year-old Remy was injured in the 3-1 victory over Bourg-Peronnas in the last 16 of the Coupe de France, and left the match at halftime.

Marseille is now set to face Valenciennes on Saturday in Ligue 1 and Inter Milan on Wednesday in the Champions League last 16 without Remy, who has nine goals and three assists this season domestically.

Remy could also miss Ligue 1 matches against Brest and Toulouse, but hopes to return for the second leg in Italy against Inter on March 13.
