Moseley, Padres finalize $900,000, 1-year deal

SAN DIEGO – Right-hander Dustin Moseley and the San Diego Padres have finalized a $900,000, one-year contract.

Moseley went 4-4 with a 4.96 ERA this year in nine starts and seven relief appearances with the New York Yankees. He earned the win in the opening game of the AL championship series against Texas.

Moseley spent the previous four seasons in the Los Angeles Angels.

The deal was agreed to at the winter meetings last week and finalized Monday.
