A top Wall Street investor who served as Scott Walker’s national finance co-chairman has landed a job at the Jeb Bush campaign.

Anthony Scaramucci, who is also a contributor to Fox Business, confirmed in a tweet Wednesday that he joined Bush’s campaign. The once frontrunner is now in the middle of the GOP pack.

"I want to win," Scararamucci said in response to a question on Twitter from a Donald Trump supporter as to why he was supporting the former Florida governor.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anthony Scaramucci to Team Jeb,” said Woody Johnson, Bush's national finance chairman.

Scaramucci trumpeted Bush as the ideal presidential candidate for the Republican Party.

"As Governor of Florida, Jeb turned words into action and brought real reform to the state, creating an environment for job growth and economic prosperity," Scaramucci said in an emailed statement. "I know he will do the same as President.”

Scaramucci, according to information provided by a Bush spokesperson, is founder and co-managing partner of SkyBridge Capital," a global investment management firm with approximately $13.4 billion in assets under management and advisement."

Walker's surprise early departure from 2016 has left many of his former supporters and staffer scrambling.

While many have joined Marco Rubio's presidential campaign as the Florida senator's poll numbers continue to climb, Bush and other rivals have tried to intercept a few of the former Walker backers.
