    The Obama family returns to Washington next week after some end-of-year relaxation in Hawaii. The president has turned away from his trip several times to meet with his security team and speak to the press regarding the attempted terror attack Christmas Day on a Detroit-bound flight. But in between, the first family squeezed in down time -- including quite a bit of golf -- in and around the Kailua neighborhood where they are renting a beach house.
