A Georgia family who "lost everything" in a house fire last Friday is finding comfort after their Bible was pulled from the rubble unharmed.

The homeowner's niece Rachel Still, who also lived in the home, told Action News Jacksonville that she's used the Bible "forever" and said its recovery has reminded the family of their faith in God.

"(God) is still here even when bad things happen," Stills told the station. "It reminds me to be strong and be brave, and to be thankful."

No one was home when the Glynn County house caught fire, but four animals inside didn't make it.

Firefighters are investigating the exact cause of the fire but the family believes it may be an electrical issue.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help the family with the recovery process.
