A flight attendant studying to become a minister disappeared Thursday after quitting her job at LaGuardia Airport.

Sierra Shields, 30, was last seen around noon when she told her supervisor she was quitting, PIX11 reported. She reportedly left her belongings behind and Shields' phone and wallet were found at her apartment.

"By the distress and everything that took place on Thursday, she was suffering through something," her father, Chris Shields, told CBS2.

Sierra called her mother and father before quitting, CBS2 reported.

“We all love her and we all look forward to sharing our life with her,’’ Shields told The New York Post. “We’d just love for her to come home.”

Sierra worked for an agency that provides attendants for Delta and United. Her pastor, Larry Mayberry, said Shields had spoken to his wife earlier in the week but she gave no indication that anything was amiss, PIX11 reported.

Relatives have created a Facebook page, Find Sierra Shields, seeking information.
