The Blackhawks and Blues met for a Wednesday Night Rivalry game in St. Louis this week. The game was a good one, with a late goal from the Blues sending the intense contest into overtime. The Blackhawks ultimately got the W on the strength of an Artemi Panarin wrist shot.

But before the game's opening face-off, there was a pretty fantastic anthem at the Scottrade Center. To celebrate Military Appreciation Night, the fans in St. Louis were called upon to show their patriotism and help sing the Star-Spangled Banner. They delivered.

It's always cool when fans get entrusted with the anthem, but Wednesday's great display came just one day after a divisive presidential election and coincided with several protests around the country. It was a good time for an arena full of people to come together in unity to show their American pride.
