ATLANTA (AP) Georgia Tech athletic director Mike Bobinski has accepted the same position at Purdue.
Bobinski's decision was announced Tuesday by Georgia Tech President Bud Peterson, who said Bobinski will begin his work at Purdue this month.
Bobinski was hired by Georgia Tech from Xavier in April 2013.

At Purdue, Bobinski will replace Morgan Burke, who announced in February he would retire no later than the end of June 2017.
Peterson said a search committee will be formed to find Bobinski's replacement.
