Rougned Odor will be eating well in Texas as long as he has an appetite for barbecue. Texas barbecue joint Heim Barbecue offered Odor free food for life for punching Texas' public enemy No. 1 Jose Bautista in the face Sunday.

The restaurant started as a food truck, but owner Travis Heim said they will be opening a brick-and-mortar location next month where Odor will always be welcome.

Via NBC 5:

"We just thought it would be a funny thing if we Rougie free food because he wasn't the only one who wanted to punch Bautista after last year," Heim said. "So you know, it's kind of a justice, a little bit."

Odor was served with an eight-game suspension and a $5,000 fine for the punch, so the free food deal might come in handy. Heim told NBC 5 that he does not know whether Odor will take him up on the deal, but this seems like a good way to market a new restaurant in a Texas area full of admiration for Odor.

In addition to the free barbecue for life offer, Odor's punch inspired a special alcoholic drink from the Rangers' minor league affiliate as well as some interesting commemorative t-shirts designed by fans.
