Melvin Gordon's first season with the San Diego Chargers will end without an end zone trip.

The rookie running back's knee landed him on season-ending injured reserve on Monday, preserving a touchdown-less streak that dates back to Week 1.

The Chargers thought they were drafting a touchdown machine when they selected Gordon with their first-round pick this season. He scored 32 times in his final season with the Wisconsin Badgers.
