As expected, Buffalo Bills linebacker IK Enemkpali's name has come up fairly often ahead of Thursday night's matchup with the New York Jets. He, like Rex Ryan, is making his return to the Meadowlands for the first time since being cut by the team.

Of course, Enemkpali is the guy who broke Geno Smith's jaw with a sucker punch in training camp, and as if he wasn't at the center of attention enough, Ryan named him a captain for the game.

Smith was asked about the situation on Tuesday, specifically if he'll talk to Enemkpali when the two sides square off on Thursday night.

"I don't know. That's a tough question," Smith said via Ben Shpigel of the New York Times. "That's like asking me what I'm going to eat for lunch tomorrow."

Furthermore, Smith made it certain that there are no hard feelings between him and Enemkpali, and he doesn't take it personal that his former head coach named him a captain.

"It's his decision, I don't really take it personal," Smith said.

A reporter then asked "Why don't you take it personal, since he punched you?" Smith responded by asking "why would I?" The reporter replied by saying "Because he punched you."

At that point, Smith took the high road and said "next question." He's been mature about it all and hasn't wavered on his feelings of the situation. Ryan's decision to name Enemkpali a captain seemingly won't change Smith's mind in any way.
