Evidence came to light on Friday that details the domestic violence incident between Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy and his former girlfriend in 2014.
Deadspin published photos -- that were sealed during Hardy's domestic violence trial -- that allegedly show the injuries Lauren Holder suffered during the incident that took place in Charlotte in May 2014. The images documented the bruises on her back as well as injuries she suffered to the lower half of her body.
Hardy was convicted by a judge in a bench trial, but the case fell apart on appeal. Holder refused to appear in court and accepted a civil settlement from Hardy, causing the case to be thrown out.
The charges were expunged this week.
ESPN's Todd Archer reported on Friday that Hardy declined comment about Deadspin's story. The Cowboys also didn't comment, but are aware of the story.
