Jacksonville enters the second half of the season still very much in the playoff picture in the AFC South and the team's schedule over the final nine games gives further reason for hope.

Per ESPN's Mike DiRocco, the Jaguars have the NFL's easiest remaining schedule schedule, with the team's second-half opponents having a combined record of 26-43.

Jacksonville faces just two teams with winning records, including Sunday's opponent, the New York Jets, who are 4-3.

Plus, there's this: In Gus Bradley's two season, the Jaguars have performed substantially better after the bye. Jacksonville is a combined 6-8 after the break under Bradley.

At 2-5, Jacksonville sits just a half game behind the Colts and Texans in the division.

Whether the team is able to parlay the weak schedule into a string of wins remains to be seen, but the opportunity, at least, is there.
