PARIS (AP) Saint-Etienne beat Reims 3-0 at home to move provisionally up to third place in the French league on Saturday, with all the goals coming in the second half.

Slovenia forward Robert Beric pounced in the 63rd minute when he turned in a cross from right-back Francois Clerc, and five minutes later a headed own goal from midfielder Prince Oniangue made it 2-0.

Midfielder Valentin Eysseric capped a fine individual performance with a clinical finish in the 83rd after running onto a pass from forward Nolan Roux and clipping the ball over goalkeeper Johny Placide.

After 12 rounds of games, Saint-Etienne is level with second-place Angers with 22 points - 10 behind leader Paris Saint-Germain, which won 1-0 at Rennes on Friday night thanks to Angel Di Maria's late goal.
