Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Mallett is once again having punctuality problems.

Mallett, who lost his starting job to Brian Hoyer two weeks ago, missed the Texans' Saturday charter flight to Miami according to a report from the Houston Chronicle's John McClain.

The 27-year-old arrived in South Florida later in the day on a commercial flight. Luckily for the Texans, he made it, as the team has no other backup quarterbacks on the active roster. Mallett was active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Mallett, who started four games this season, also missed a practice in training camp after losing the starting competition to Hoyer the first time. He blamed the incident on a dead cell phone battery which caused his alarm clock to fail.
