As the Indianapolis Colts continue to search for some sort of pass rush, head coach Chuck Pagano said linebacker Robert Mathis will see an increased workload.

Mathis, who missed last season after tearing his Achilles, has seen limited action through the Colts' first six games, playing just 106 snaps. Indianapolis ranks 28th in the NFL in sacks with 8.0 and Pagano said the time is right to get Mathis on the field more.

"Yeah, he's going to get some more snaps," Pagano said, per ESPN.

Mathis, who led the league with 19.5 sacks in 2013, has three tackles so far, but no sacks. His replacement in the starting lineup, Trent Cole, has yet to record a sack either.

With the Indianapolis set to host New Orleans on Sunday, Mathis will use his increased playing time to try to get to Drew Brees. The Saints quarterback has been sacked 15 times this season, tied for eighth most in the league.
