Kansas State put forth a valiant effort in its 52-45 loss to No. 2 TCU, but any loss is frustrating. Saturday's game was an emotional roller-coaster for the Wildcats, and quarterback Joe Hubener took the defeat as hard as anyone.
Hubener scored four rushing touchdowns on the evening, but on Kansas State's final drive, he fumbled away the Wildcats' comeback hopes. And he was visibly upset on the sidelines afterward.
Kansas State may have lost the game, but to Huber's credit, his performance was a big reason why his team came as close as it did to knocking off the Horned Frogs.
