David Amerson found a new home with the Raiders.

Now, the ex-Washington cornerback finds himself atop the Silver and Black's cornerback depth chart.

Amerson played in 75 of 77 total defensive snaps against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. That's more than defensive end Khalil Mack and as many as safety Charles Woodson.

The Raiders need all those snaps and then some. Oakland's secondary is paper thin after Nate Allen's injury and T.J. Carrie's shift to safety.

They added a capable contributor in Amerson -- and should be thankful he can play such a high volume.
