Browns quarterback Josh McCown is reportedly expected back at practice Friday, and if all goes well, he'll likely start over Johnny Manziel against Tennessee on Sunday.

McCown suffered a concussion on the opening possession during last Sunday's season-opening loss to the Jets when he dove for the goal line at the end of a 90-yard drive. While he still has to get clearance from the league's concussion protocol, head coach Mike Pettine said he doesn't see any reason he wouldn't play him, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

Manziel came on in relief of McCown last week against the Jets and threw a 54-yard touchdown pass on his fifth snap of the game. Manziel turned the ball over three times after that in the 31-10 loss.
