Over the past 30 days, Yoenis Cespedes has led the major leagues with 15 home runs. Edwin Encarnacion has slugged 11 during that time, while a quartet of big-name sluggers - Bryce Harper, Nolan Arenado, Carlos Gonzalez and David Ortiz - follows with 10 homers. No surprises yet.
Next on the list is Brewers OF Khris Davis, who has nine homers, 19 RBI, 16 runs scored and three steals over that span, and is owned in just 12 percent of FOXSports.com leagues. Davis has batted just .230 over the last month, but if you're looking for fantasy free agents with two-and-a-half weeks left in the season, you can't be too picky. He's probably the best, widely available power hitter on the market.

The Giants have shut down 2B Joe Panik (back) for the season, which probably doesn't surprise his fantasy owners. Panik had a terrific season, but has played three games since the beginning of August.
Nationals OF Jayson Werth hit two home runs on Wednesday, giving him two multi-homer games in three days. Better late than never, said the fantasy analyst who ranked Werth among the top 25 outfielders when nobody else did.
As expected, the Red Sox are shutting down SP Joe Kelly (shoulder).
Everyone seems worried about Greg Holland's diminished velocity, but Royals manager Ned Yost isn't planning to replace his closer.
Yankees 1B Greg Bird is hitting, folks. In September, Bird has five homers, 11 RBI and eight runs scored. He's also owned in just 2.9 percent of FOXSports.com leagues. Check out last night's longball.
The Yankees hope Bird doesn't become another Jesus Montero, a former underachieving prospect who was shipped off to Seattle a couple of years ago and continued to disappoint. Montero has homered in each of his last two starts for the Mariners, but is in a part-time role. He's only worthwhile in AL-only leagues.
The A's have called up southpaw Barry Zito - yes, THAT Barry Zito - but he'll work out of the bullpen.
Before his bullpen imploded, Ervin Santana did a solid job as Wednesday's streaming starter. Today's pick is Pittsburgh's steady but unspectacular Charlie Morton (12.3 percent owned) against the Cubs. Just remember that Morton has a 12:35 p.m. ET start.
DFS advice (based on 50/50 games, night games only, salaries from DraftKings): There's not an ace on the board tonight other than Corey Kluber ($12,300), and he hasn't pitched in almost three weeks. John Lackey ($9,700) is a solid play, having averaged 19.9 DK points over his last six starts ... An SP2 option could be Jays SP Marco Estrada ($7,900), who is a -210 favorite vs. the terrible Braves ... With Orioles C Matt Wieters down to $2,500 against the shaky Matt Moore, I'm in ... Wieters' teammate, 2B/SS Ryan Flaherty ($2,400), has averaged 12 DK points over his last four starts despite batting ninth ... Want one more Oriole? OF Nolan Reimold ($2,400) has been batting leadoff, and owns a .366 wOBA vs. LHP this season ... BvP alert: Rays 3B Evan Longoria ($3,900) is 16-for-46 with six home runs against Chris Tillman ... The best hitters on the board are probably Adam Jones ($3,900) and Miguel Sano ($4,800).
