The Minnesota Golden Gophers have been bitten by the injury bug in the early part of 2015. One of their best offense players, KJ Maye has an injured midsection that he suffered during the 23-20 overtime win over Colorado State.

Jerry Kill was optimistic about his progression earlier this week:

"He'll play as long as things progress with him," Kill said.

Getting Maye back soon and healthy will be huge for this offense. They have struggle to score so far this season and will need to come through consistently for a great defense that figures to keep them in most every game.
