NASCAR announced late Tuesday that four Sprint Cup Series teams will be docked practice time this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway for being late through the inspection line last weekend at Richmond International Raceway.
The teams of Alex Bowman, J.J. Yeley and Michael McDowell will each be forced to sit out 15 minutes for being late to qualifying inspection at RIR.
The team of Jeb Burton, meanwhile, will lose 30 minutes of practice time at Chicagoland for arriving late to qualifying inspection and race inspection last weekend.
NASCAR issued no penalties or warnings this week, after there were no issues in post-race inspection at RIR.
