Kentrell Brothers has been playing like a man possessed thus far in 2015 for the Missouri Tigers. The redshirt senior out of Oklahoma won SEC Defensive Player of the Week with a dominating performance versus Arkansas State.

Brothers accrued 16 total tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and two interceptions during the 27-20 victory. It marks the second-straight week in which Brothers has notched 16 tackles. He leads all of FBS with 32 tackles through the first two games of the season.

Brothers' instincts for the position are rare. He reads the game exceptionally well, and reacts even better. As evidenced by his statistical output, Brothers doesn't miss a ton of tackles. He's also seemingly always around the football.

Brothers appears to be the next great defensive player to come out of Mizzou. At this rate, it'd be a shock if he doesn't contend for both The Butkus Award and The Lott IMPACT Trophy.
