Hockey players are lucky enough to use chartered jets for most of their in-season travel, but in the offseason, the players are back in the cheap seats like the rest of the world.

In addition to less leg-room and more uncomfortable seats, hockey players have to worry about another travel hazard: NHL fans unwittingly reminding players of their failures from the previous season.

St. Louis Blues center Steve Ott showed fans just how difficult life in coach can be in a recent Twitter snap from his latest trip.

Goaltender Jake Allen later showed he shares Ott's pain, as he posted a photo of the license plate of a car he was driving behind.

If nothing else, perhaps the offending hat is good motivation for Ott to train hard for the remainder of the summer before Blues training camp begins next month. The 33-year-old is in for an important year, too, as he is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2015-16 season.
