Erik Karlsson's summer vacation tour seems like it will never end. The Senators' captain started the summer with a trip to the Kentucky Derby followed by a stop in Bali. Then it was back to his native Sweden, followed by a short jaunt to Vegas for the NHL awards. Next, Karlsson spent some time in Ottawa around Canada Day, but then he returned to Sweden. Recently, Karlsson jetted off to Greece.
So given Karlsson's travels, it seems inevitable that some sort of exciting run-in would occur at some point. That is exactly what happened in Santorini recently, as Karlsson bumped into Dutch DJ and producer Tiesto.
It's hard to know whether this run-in was planned or not given Karlsson's overuse of the word "random," but it adds yet another element to make people jealous of Karlsson's summer adventures.
With a month before training camp begins, who knows where Karlsson will end up next?
