As the trade winds pick up surrounding San Diego Padres closer Craig Kimbrel, a frontrunner has reportedly emerged to nab his services.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Washington Nationals have surfaced as the "hottest" on Kimbrel, who is considered one of the best right-handed relievers on the trade market.

Other teams rumored to be interested in Kimbrel include the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, and the Houston Astros.
