Ian Poulter dressed to the 9s, minus his 14 clubs at Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Ian Poulter was dressed to the nines for his practice round at the Masters, except he was missing his 14 clubs.

Only when he arrived at Augusta National did Poulter realize he left his golf clubs back at the house. The Englishman is never shy about poking fun at himself, so he announced his blunder to more than 1.8 million followers on Twitter.

He wrote: "Yes yes yes I drive to Augusta national this morning without my clubs and had to go back and get them."

The caddie for Martin Kaymer tweeted a photo of Poulter, dressed in black pants and a black vest over a lime green shirt and visor, with the message: "He made it!"
