Justin Burrell scored 14 points to help Holy Cross defeat Patriot League-foe Navy 66-57 Monday, snapping a five-game losing streak.

Dave Dudzinski added 13 points and Malcolm Miller chipped in nine for Holy Cross, which won its sixth straight game over the Midshipmen.

Holy Cross (11-13, 3-6) opened the game on an 11-2 run behind 3-pointers from Cullen Hamilton and Burrell. Navy (7-18, 1-8) cut the deficit to six, 11-5, but would get no closer as Hamilton answered with a jumper and Jordan Stevens a dunk to give the Crusaders the lead for good.

Holy Cross led 43-28 at the break after a 56 percent (14 of 25) first-half shooting performance. The Crusaders outshot Navy 40 percent (20 of 49) to 38.2 percent (21 of 55) and scored 15 points off turnovers.

Worth Smith scored 19 points for Navy, which held Holy Cross to 6-of-24 shooting in the second half.
