Seattle Mariners catcher Jesus Montero is the latest name to be connected to the South Florida-based anti-aging clinic suspected of supplying performance-enhancing drugs to major league players, according to a report in the New York Daily News published Wednesday.

The article stated that the former New York Yankees top prospect was listed in the records of Biogenesis of America, the clinic run by notorious athletic consultant Anthony Bosch with alleged ties to a number of players either accused of or proven to have been involved in previous steroid use.

Biogensis initially came into recent news by a story from the Miami New Times last week claimed that Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez and several other notable major leaguers were among the names found in a notebook of Bosch, who was previously linked to Manny Ramirez when the star slugger was suspended by MLB for violating the league's drug policy in 2009.

A Yahoo! Sports report that came out Tuesday also pegged Milwaukee Brewers outfielder and 2011 National League Most Valuable Player Ryan Braun as having an involvement with Bosch's clinic, which is currently under investigation by MLB.

Melky Cabrera, Nelson Cruz, Gio Gonzalez and Bartolo Colon are among others who have been implicated in the growing scandal.

Montero, who was traded by the Yankees to Seattle prior to last season, is also a client of the ACES sports agency run by Seth and Sam Levinson. The Brooklyn-based brothers also represent Cabrera, handed a 50-game suspension by MLB this past summer after testing positive for elevated levels of testerone while then a member of the San Francisco Giants.

The Levinsons are also being probed by MLB for their possible involvement in Cabrera's attempt to cover up his steroid use by creating a fictitious website intended to be selling supplements blamed for the outfielder's positive test.

Both Rodriguez, who admitted in 2009 that he used PEDs during his time with the Rangers from 2001-03, and Braun have released statements denying having purchased performance-enhancers from Biogenesis, though Braun did acknowledge having a business relationship with Bosch.
