Aaron Clayborn collected his first career double-double as five Texas Southern players scored in double figures in the Tigers' 75-48 win over Southwestern Athletic Conference-opponent Mississippi Valley State Monday night.

Clayborn scored 11 points and grabbed a career-best 13 rebounds. Omar Strong added 18 points, while Law Johnson-Danner had 12, Madarious Gibbs 11 and Fred Sturdivant 10.

The Tigers (6-14, 5-2) shot 49.1 percent (28 of 57) from the field, including 11 of 25 from 3-point range. Texas Southern hit 7 of 12 long-range attempts in the second half to help turn its 39-19 intermission advantage into a win.

Cameron Dobbs paced the Delta Devils (2-15, 2-5) with 13 points, while Julius Francis and Davon Usher added 10 each.

MVSU shot just 32.7 percent (18 of 55).

Texas Southern won the rebounding battle 38-33, outscored MVSU 26-16 in the paint and scored 20 second-chance points to the Delta Devils' 9.
