The agent for embroiled Argentine soccer player Carlos Tevéz said that a move to the Italian squad AC Milan is the striker's preferred option as he seeks to finally put an end to his troubled spell at Manchester City, according to an Italian newspaper.
Kia Joorabchian had a two-hour meeting with Milan vice president Adriano Galliani at the club's headquarters on Thursday.
In an interview published Saturday in Gazzetta dello Sport, Joorabchian is quoted as saying: ''Milan is the best solution at the moment, his first choice. Carlos wants to wear the Milan shirt.''
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said that Tevez's decision to return to Argentina without permission had ended any hope the forward had of playing for the Premier League club again.
Tévez was fined a month's wages earlier this month by Manchester City, but was able to keep playing despite being found guilty of five breaches of contract for misconduct on the bench during a Champions League match.

Manchester City's disciplinary hearing found that Tévez disobeyed club officials when he did not come off the bench during September's 2-0 loss.
Tévez was immediately suspended for two weeks by Manchester City. Despite manager Roberto Mancini saying the Argentina international wouldn't play for the club again, he received no ban from the panel.
Tévez was Manchester City's top scorer during its run to the FA Cup title last year that ended a 35-year trophy drought, but has been largely out of favor since a failed attempt to secure a transfer in the off-season.
