Landon Clement scored 15 points, including the three winning free throws with 26 seconds left, as North Carolina Central edged Florida A&M 58-55 on Saturday night to sweep the season series.

Amin Stevens missed a potential tying 3-pointer with 2 seconds to go, giving the Eagles (14-13) their second win in three games.

The Rattlers (12-17) have lost three of four and are 0-5 against N.C. Central.

The game was tied nine times with 15 lead changes. Florida A&M led by as many as nine in the first half and 25-23 at the break.

After six second-half ties, the Eagles took a 55-51 lead with 3:12 to go. Baskets by Brandon Hosley and Yannick Crowder tied it at 55 with 48 seconds to go, then Clement was fouled beyond the arc.

C.J. Wilkerson added 15 points for N.C. Central.

Stevens scored 23 to lead the Rattlers, who had no other player score more than eight points.
