      DISCOVERY TO UDVAR HAZY

      Space shuttle Discovery arrival and "Welcome Discovery" celebration at the Udvar Hazy Center. (FYI Shuttle Endeavour will travel to the California Science Center in Los Angeles in the second half of the year.)

      0700EDT -- Shuttle Enterprise rolls out of hangar

      1030EDT -- Shuttle Discovery expected to arrive at gate of museum

      1100EDT -- Shuttle Discovery is pulled into position and "meets" Shuttle Enterprise nose-to-nose.

      1100- 1215EDT -- Ceremony. Speakers will talk about the orbiter's achievements. Ceremony features formal signing of document transferring Discovery from NASA to the Smithsonian. National Anthem sung by mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves; Music by the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and Marine Corps Color Guard; Participants will include 14 of Discovery's 31 living commanders.
