Free ice cream at Dairy Queen to celebrate first day of spring

There's still snow on the ground in plenty of Northeastern cities-- but that doesn't mean you shouldn't treat yourself to something cold and sweet.

To honor the first official day of spring, March 20, Dairy Queen is giving away free ice cream at all participating locations this Monday.

It’s part of the chain’s annual #FreeConeDay promotion.

The offer is valid for one free vanilla soft serve cone and while you can only get one, the deal is good all day.
