The MTV Video Music Awards are a few weeks away, but one of the big winners of the night has already been announced.

Jennifer Lopez, 49, will be presented the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award this year, MTV announced Tuesday.

The network called Lopez “one of the most iconic and influential multi-hyphenates across music, film, television, fashion, business and philanthropy” in a press release.

Lopez, who will give a live performance during the Aug. 20 event, appeared in a Facebook Live segment, where she called the honor “amazing.”

The singer said that "growing up on MTV and watching all my idols [...] get this award, being the recipient is like - I can’t even believe it. I'm so excited."

The “World of Dance” judge later tweeted about the news.

“ICYMI: I’m getting the 2018 @MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award... so excited!!! So grateful. #letsgetit #vmas,” she shared.

A clip showing parts of different Lopez videos accompanied the tweet.

The Bronx-bred performer has released multiple hits and memorable, dance-heavy music videos since the late 1990s, including “If You Had My Love,” “Waiting for Tonight,” “I’m Real” and “Jenny From the Block.”

In addition to the Vanguard prize, Lopez could walk away with several other awards next month.

She’s up for “Best Collaboration” and “Best Latin Video” for her Cardi B tune "Dinero," which also features DJ Khaled.

The Vanguard award was given to P!nk at the 2017 ceremony. Other recent winners include Rihanna, Kanye West and Beyonce.
