Bachata singer Jimmy Bauer is reportedly in recovery in the Central Hospital of Arm Forces in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic after undergoing an emergency stomach surgery to remove 88 pouches containing drugs,Dominican newspaper “Listin Diario” reported early Tuesday morning on its website.
Officials at the International Airport of the Americas reportedly apprehended the 40-year-old “Todas Tus Cosas” singer, after he allegedly appeared to be “drunk” and “suspicious” the agents of the airport’s Special Security Corps told “Listin Diario.”
The singer, who this year participated in the Sydney International Bachata Festival, was scheduled to take a flight to New York City.
