'Grey's Anatomy' star Ellen Pompeo is pregnant with her first child.

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Ellen Pompeo is pregnant with her first child.

The star’s rep Jennifer Allen confirmed the news to People magazine Monday.

Pompeo 39, and music producer husband David Ivery, 41, were married in Novemeber 2007 by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey on the hit ABC show is not the only cast member who is expecting. Co-star Chyler Leigh is due to have a baby girl in May.
