Nirvana remembers Kurt Cobain on 25th anniversary of his death

Nirvana on Friday paid tribute to their frontman Kurt Cobain on the 25th anniversary of his death.
The band posted a simple message on Twitter, alongside a photo of Cobain standing on stage with a guitar.
“Kurt—You left us 25 years ago,” the post said. “You mean so much to so many.”

The music icon took his own life on April 5, 1994 at his home near Lake Washington in Washington state.

Fans also recognized the anniversary, leaving memorials on benches at Viretta Park in Seattle, according to The Associated Press.
